Layered, dimmable lighting designed with you or your designer and installed by licensed electricians. Try it below on one of our real projects.
Like a Celtic knot, every connection matters
This is one of our living room projects. Tap the wall keypad to switch each layer on or off, then raise or lower to dim. The room changes the same way it does in real life.
The same lights, set from the couch, the driveway or across the country. Tap a scene and watch the room change.
App screens are a demo. On a phone, the room view stays pinned at the top while you scroll the controls. We set up and program your Lutron lighting controls so every scene is ready the day we finish.
A few favorites up front. More photos sit beside each lighting topic below, from kitchens and wine rooms to decks and baths.

Good lighting starts on paper. We meet with you, your interior designer or your builder, walk the space and talk about how each room gets used: where you cook, read, entertain and wind down.
Statement fixtures your designer picks, hung, centered and dimmed the way the plan calls for.

Either way, we lay recessed lighting out for even light with less glare, not a grid of holes in the ceiling.
Recessed lights laid out for even light, with decorative ceiling fixtures on their own dimmers.

Color temperature is measured in Kelvin. Lower numbers look warm and golden. Higher numbers look cool and crisp. Keeping one color across a room makes it feel calm and finished.
Smooth dimming depends on the fixture, the driver and the dimmer working together. Mismatched parts cause flicker, buzzing or lights that drop out at low levels. We pick compatible parts and set the low end so lights fade cleanly.

A scene is a saved set of light levels across a room or the whole house. One button sets Evening, Dining or Goodnight, just like the demo at the top of this page.
A keypad replaces a row of switches with one clean control, and we label every button in plain words. Popular spots are the entry, the kitchen and a Goodnight button by the bed that turns off the whole house.

Outdoor lighting makes a home feel welcoming and helps you see steps, paths and the driveway. We light the front of the home, trees, walkways, decks, railings and patios with low-glare fixtures aimed where you need them.
Pikes Peak weather is hard on outdoor parts. Wind, hail, fast temperature swings and strong sun at altitude all wear on fixtures and connections. We use fixtures and wiring rated for wet locations and put lights on timers or dusk-to-dawn controls so they come on at the right time all year.
Step lights, pavilion pendants and string lights on a deck designed by designATplay.

Accent lighting is the layer people notice: LED tape in slat walls, cove lighting in tray ceilings, under-cabinet and toe-kick lights, lit floating shelves and backlit mirrors.
The details make or break it. We use channels and diffusers so you never see dots, place drivers where they can be serviced and hide the wiring in the build.
Channels and diffusers keep the glow even, with no dots and no visible drivers.

We install Lutron lighting controls and similar systems that let you dim, schedule and run scenes from a keypad or your phone. Have the lights come on when you pull in, run a vacation schedule while you are away, or turn off the house from bed. We program it before we leave and show you how to change it.
Task light where you work and a low glow along the floor for late nights.

We pull the permit and schedule the inspection, and we work in Broadmoor, Flying Horse, Monument, Woodmoor, Black Forest and across El Paso County.
Backlit mirrors, lit shower niches and a soft glow under the vanity.

Custom lighting often comes with a bigger project. These services pair well with it.
Building or remodeling? We plan the lighting and electrical with your designer and builder from the start.

Usually, yes. Canless wafer lights make it easier to add light to a finished ceiling with less patching. We check framing, insulation and access first.
Most homes look best at 2700K to 3000K. We often suggest warmer light in living spaces and slightly crisper light in kitchens and baths.
Usually the dimmer and the fixture are not a good match. We swap in compatible parts and set the low end so they dim smoothly.
No. A lighting control system can run scenes from wall keypads alone. The phone app is a bonus, not a requirement.
